What used to be a rather anonymous pass through strip within our city is rapidly transitioning to a quintessential 21st century live, work and play environment. The Victoria Residences are located less than 0.3 miles from a new urban hub which will arrive in full by 2022: Bulfinch Crossing. Developed by HYM, this 4.8-acre site replaces one of Boston’s old parking structures while bridging historic neighborhoods (Beacon Hill and the North End).
The scope of this project includes two skyscrapers: One Congress, a 43-story office tower full of high-end amenities and a residential tower including a fitness center, sw imming pool, rooftop garden, pet spa, concierge services and many other luxurious common spaces. The development doesn’t stop there! A second low-rise office building, a second residential tower, a low-rise retail building and a hotel complete the on site improvements. The hotel will feature a ballroom, several meeting rooms, a rooftop bar, and a rooftop terrace. The activation of this currently concrete garage into a bustling landscape will transform this area into a diverse and vibrant downtown community with pedestrian connectivity to so much of the city. Not to worry, over 1,160 parking spaces from the old garage will be preserved, so parking in the area will be no issue! Bulfinch Crossing will be a heavily transit-served site reconnecting the North Slope with iconic neighboring Boston hotspots and bringing new excitement to the area.
